Have any good ones to share? Funny? Inspirational? Despair (http://www.despair.com/)-esque?
I found this one during a search for a new signature to put in my e-mail:
"The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon." -Robert Cromier

One of my absolute favorites:
"Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer." -Barbara Kingsolver

There's this (http://101reasonstostopwriting.com/demotivators/) but I don't think it's what you were looking for.

I can't look this up right now, but I read this when I was an impressionable adolescent. This quote turned on the permanent "write a book" switch in me.
(this is mega-paraphrased)
Figure out what book you most want to read and then sit down and write it yourself.--JD Salinger

One of my favorites is the quote in my signature. Copied and pasted, in case I ever change it.
"The real secret is to do it because you love writing rather than because you love the idea of being a Writer" -Iain Banks (Guardian Unlimited, Feb 7th, 2008)
I will come back and add as I remember others :) Good stuff so far!
