Eh Up,

You guys all seem to know blinking well everything I ever ask, so I thought I'd ask for some help on this one real quick...

I'm writing some short-stories that I want to compile in to a book of shorts. It's aimed at kids aged around 9-14. I'd like some UK-Based publishers that I could submit my manuscript to once completed.

Any suggestions/advice?

Thanks

Search for publishers who accept anthologies. Also contact the education department, they might have a press specialising in early-years school-acceptable books. And good luck.

I'd try to get some of the stories published in kids' magazines first, or win some prizes with them.
Anthologies are tough sells, but if you have a following already, things get easier.

Have you seen any such anthologies on sale in the UK?

Check out 'Aquila' magazine which publishes short fiction for kids in the UK
