Could anyone reccomend any grammar software that has worked for them? Some thing at a college level would be great.

'The Human Brain' has always worked well for me...

(...but it helps to boot it under 'Education 2.0' or greater...)

I swear by mine :D

Are you looking for a handy reference, or an artificial intelligence that will do your beta reading? 'Cause all that will do you any real good is the reference and your own re-programmable "wetware".

The only grammar software I can think of is what comes with Microsoft Word. In the bowels of the software is the spell check and you can set the level of checking: Tools, Spelling and Grammar, Options, Writing Style. From there you can select levels as Formal, casual, technical, etc.

It works FAIRLY well. It does highlight things that are correct and shows them as not correct. Good luck.
