LOLOL. Stipid? Is this some new gloss term and I missed the memo? Well, okay, maybe stipid is harsh. How 'bout, "You can't spell your way out of a paper bag?"
I was stipid once. I called the police, but they told me to go post it on a message board instead. Then the message board people told me they were calling the police on me, so I just said, "Stip this." In my defense, this happened after PA gave me serious brain drain. I didn't have these stipid problems before that. The doctor prescribed plenty of tone, so I AM getting better.

P.S. And PA, where are y'all in all this? Why not a disclaimer on your index page disavowing all knowledge of this prank? Or can y'all honestly say that?

Ed, Ed, Ed. :Smack: What were you thinking? You used PublishAmerica in the same thought with the word 'honestly.' You know they are completely alien to the whole concept of anything honest.

Stipid....

Well, I was "stipid" once myself. But I found that a few hours with Webster's solved all my problems.

Of course, I also had to take a few "resonating pills" so that I wouldn't be expected to apologize or have to take the "tone" prescribed to Sher.

All in all, I think I'm on the mend, but I still have a lingering desire to thank others for the privilege of being published. And, I am uncomfortably drawn to one dollar bills.

Wonder what that means.....:Wha:

Holy Heck in a hand basket: I flit off for a holiday and y’all post seven pages.

You have my deepest sympathy, Joe. What he’s done to you is horrible beyond words.

Kas…I agree with Granny. Please do as much as you can to clean up what you spread on the PA boards. And when they ban you, please keep nudging your PA friends toward the light. If you can’t undo the harm you’ve caused Jenna, hopefully you can keep her and others from being further harmed. I’ll even suggest that you offer to compensate her for the legal fees.

As far as CBM in general, well, I am of two minds:

1) He really thought he was being stalked and simply reacted in his usual, grossly inappropriate manner.

2) This was just an Easter/April Fool’s joke that went sideways, since he forgot to take into account that the crowd of “old-timers” that had forgiven him last time are no longer with PA, and he sprang this stunt on a hundred or so new folks who had no real history with him. When called on it, he then comes up with the stalker excuse, naming someone who has exhibited enough irrational behavior in public to make it sound plausible.

Either way, the guy needs professional help.

Gosh, Nancy, I'd forgotten all about the resonating pills. That was some nice stuff, huh?;)

Here's something you can do with stray dollar bills. I got this tip straight from Martha herself before she went to the Big House. You boil them down, dry 'em out, iron 'em a little bit, and they make the prettiest pea-green toilet paper.

Good one Reph. Should have thought that through better. If that was the case I would never leave the house.

I hereby propose a new forum rule. Anyone who claims to be dead has to show us the body. I do feel sorry for Purple, but I'm not buying any horse chow 'til I see the carcass. Pony up, Kevin.

Man, I sure hope I have a more dignified croaking than yours.;)
Here you go Sherry, said body. :guns: :horse:

To bad the body is of Purple. Damn horse!

Maybe it means you were a stripper in another life? Maybe all of us PA authors were and that is why we signed their contract and took the one dolla advance. I tried strippin' but the owner kicked me out. Guess he didn't like having some strange guy in his bedroom with his wife.

Ah rats, no wonder I wasn't resonating. It's in the pills. I thought it was inside the PA bong. Wow, thanks for clearing that up, Nancy. Boy, was I stipid.

and now even that apology thread is gone...

the PA flunkies are working overtime to clean up the board - too bad they're stomping all over the peeps who got hurt by this stunt.

wonder if HummingBarf's password still works or if they gave him a new moniker...

Getting On The Jenna Bandwagon

Sheryl Nantus said:
but that didn't/doesn't excuse my behaviour to a certain degree, since I do happen to have control over my own mind. Yes, I was scammed into the PA mentality and joined the cult, but I'm old enough to take responsibility for my own actions and my ill-chosen words back then.

To me, taking responsibility is apologizing and not doing it again.

Whether or not someone else forgives you, that's out of your control. As far as I'm concerned, the people I felt I needed absolution from gave it to me.

The rest is just gravy.

Jenna, there was a point in all these discussions where my actions made you utter the phrase, "you hurt my feelings." (Or words to that extent.)

That's what made me start to think about what I was doing. You're a sweetheart with a huge heart, and I for one have a tremendous amount of respect for you.

You put our differences aside and came to bat for me even when I didn't deserve it. Isn't that what really separates the good people from the Godly people?

Yeah they do Dave. It's called Meiners houskeeper/driver/cabana boy over in his native country.

Christine, don't tell anyone I'm sweet. I have an image to uphold. Purple will be FedExed to you later today, you pay for shipping.

I don't know if I like the naughty Ed. Don't know where the naughty Ed has been.

Making you want to quit what you do is the whole reason they did it. Now that the word about PA is getting out to the public, I expect them to really start taking the low road. Mud wrestling will have nothing on it.

You're doing good, and you're doing right. That's all the reason Satan needs to bring his out his tools to try to tear you down.

You are so right, Jim.

We all support you 1000000000% Jenna, never forget that.

Well, dang, Kev, what happened to poor Purple? Did Curlem sit on him? Now we're going have to give the poor critter a decent burial. I'm thinking we could hold a joint funeral for Purple and Shemp. You and Ed can do the eulogies. When you start on Shemp's, Purple's going to get so pissed that he'll resurrect on the spot. Everybody wins. What do you think?
