If nobody wants to talk about shills and PA fellow travellers on this thread anymore then it will sink to the nether pages of the forum and be forgotten. That's the way it should be. I oppose locking it because, if someone feels the need to post here because they would go off topic on the NEPAT this should be available. There's a need sometimes for people who've gotten fed up with the tripe over on the PAMB to vent and often times the NEPAT really isn't the place.

I've suggested before that perhaps a name change is in order for this thread. I would also like to suggest again that a lot of off topic stuff be moved here and thus keep the NEPAT tidy.

My point, exactly, Bison. Some things (people) aren't a big issue when folks just let the bad steam fade away. That being said, everyone here has a point. The NEPAT thread is for any newbies who are seeking the truth as is this thread. Nobody should be taken in by ShAmpster and need a place/forum to realize what an a** he is as well as a con. It's a darned if you do and a darned if you don't situation. Do I want to feed it's ego? Of course not! Do I want other PA'ers to know the truth about him? Darned right I do!! He slanders people on the public boards and through emails, I want everyone to know that about him-he's done/doing it to me. And that's about as dangerous as he can get, but, it means you (I) have to spend a little extra time explaining to those he's emailed what the truth is; then I/we can move on. Kevin, You make a valid point, as always. I don't want to see Shemp scam more people with his falsehoods and misconceptions regarding PA. I don't think it would serve my ego in any postive manner if my every word was being scrutinized and critiqued on another, more popular web site. IN fact, it would probably make me be damn sure about everything I considered spouting off for fear of public ridicule.

But I don't think Shemp does care about what happens here. I'm sure he's read this thread and simply beleives that we're all messed up disgruntled writers. That's the extreme extent of his diseased thinking. HE'll never have the right perspective concerning PA because for him to admit PA is what we all know it is would mean he would be invalidating himself, his work and his sense of importance and self worth ans a human being. I'm sure he reads this thread, Spar, and I hope he does. He then goes back and tells the PAMB about how the people at that other board is saying things about him. Some of t hose authors will then search for the board he mentioned and they will read it. Maybe some of those will come to realize what he is and in the process realize what PA is.

PA cleaned house thinking that it would help get HB back on top, but it didn't. People coming in already knew about him and I would like to think it is because this board is up at the top when you Google his name. If we don't post here then it sinks and what you will get on Google is posts from him on the PAMB and his own website. We will be back to square one, trying to warn authors on what he is and not making good head way. I don't think he will be stipid enough to do another death thread again and let's face it, that is the main reason people stopped liking him in the first place.

We need to keep this thread out there because we may never have the chance to get back to this point again.

I just noticed a couple of things, yes I was bored.

1.) Hb has slipped down off the main page at pa and the only replies he gets are cold. Even Hero ran out of steam!

2.) This is from his quote at the bottom of his post-

Usually, when you review your own books, or have friends, spouses or relatives do it, you'll have that. (5 out of 5 star reviews)

No, it wouldn't be wah this wah that - not from me. I'm not hung up on the HB, anything. I have no reason to be. Sure he didn't treat me very nice, but I won't pick and pick and pick at someone for life just cause I don't agree with them.

I've been in and out of this thread since it was created, deleted, restored, and renamed - and I look at this thread every so often, and will continue when the urge hits me. I have that right last time I checked.

It seems someone here has to be the one to say HB isn't god, and he does not have any secret powers or the like. Basically I'm saying that I don't think he deserves his own thread, he's not even a member! Plus, it's flamin' but I won't go there..'cause that is way beside the point.

He has wronged a lot of people, no one here is denying that, no one ever has - and I certainly am not. You don't have to convince me (so you ppl who love to bash HB & don't like my comment please don't PM with your reasons of how he hurt you and why it's ok to talk crap about him if you just need to talk cool, pm me I'll help if I can) two wrongs don't make a right. That's all it boils down to in my eyes.

And it takes what like two seconds to see..what kinda mind..he has..so, I find it hard to believe that he's the one leading everyone down to hell...sure he is part of it but maybe it's because PA is the only thing he has going for him...see how he gets all this attentiion - think he wants it to stop?
