So I am a lot rusty, and I'd like to take a class on childrens writing to get me going. Do you guys have any recommendations?

If you really want to take a class, go to your local community college and take a creative writing and a Children's Lit class. However, the cheapest way would be to go to your local library and read as many childrens books you can get your hands on. Then, write... write a lot.

Ooo...good thinking batman. I will check out the library for books. Also, that is an excellent idea for taking a class at the local college. Thanks!:D

See the dog. The dog is white. It has pink spots-shit it's a damn stinkin' commie dog-well it is a start and after all the kids of today would not finD it remotely interesting unless there was at least marginal perversions to discuss while sipping lattes at Starbucks!

There is an enormous amount of free information on the internet and in the library, but if you truly need/want structured instruction definitely check out your local community college and community programs.
