What kind of character is Digory Kirke? a friend of mine is reading the series and she told me I remind her the magician's nephew when I told her she reminded me to Mina Harker...

Digory Kirke is one of the two main characters in The Magician's Nephew, in which he could be described as a fairly typical young English boy, if a bit more adventurous than most. I personally feel his true characterization is strongest in the later-occurring "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" in which he becomes Professor Kirke, a rather eccentric but wise old man who believes the Penvensie children about their adventure and has some very interesting opinions.
