Okay, gang, I have to ask - has anyone tried Dr. Frank's homopathic spray for pain control? I'm very skeptical, but...my dog's in pain and I'd do anything to help her.

Thoughts?

Hi, I've been watching that advertisement on TV and have to admit my curiousity is perked. I haven't had a chance though to research to see what ingredients make-up the product. Would love to hear your experiences if you decide to try it!

Hi Dana,

Well, I did some research on the net and won't bother to order. They have sold the product on amazon.com so I checked the reviews. Overwhelmingly the reviewers said there was no benefit, AND the company you buy it from, automatically puts you on auto-deliver and bills your credit card! Go to amazon and check it out.

Nope, I'm not wasting my money.

1) What is causing your dog pain?
2) Have you seen a vet?
3) Is your dog currently on medications?
4) Age weight etc of your dog?
5) Unless rolling in willow bark is an effective method of dosing your animal with pain killers, why would you spray an herbal on your dog and hope for the best?

Those questions were just rhetorical- except for number 5, I just wanted to rant with that one. Please discuss or rediscuss your pet's health with your vet if you have any concerns.

(and yes, I know you are just trying to do some research, but you did ask for 'Thoughts')

Cheers!
Christina

By definition, a homeopathic remedy at usual dose (30c) actually has none of the original herb tincture in it. Yes, I know folks have reported good results using homeopathic remedies--I think it is still worth doing the math.

Verr sorry your girl's hurting. Need to know the etiology. What's the history and how's she presenting now?

Hi Carlene, is this Tara, the one with the ACL tear? If so, I"m sorry to hear that she's still hurting. Can't your vet give her something for pain? I understand not wanting to overmedicate her, but there are lots of different levels of meds.

Hugs!
