well, it's that time of year - at least for me :) - when I drive my husband and my postmistress (yes I have a po box) nuts. I starting sending out queries to agents February 1st, and my month is almost up for the early ones. I was good this time, I only sent three week one and one each week after.

So everyday here shortly, I will go into the post office and bother my friend. "Anything good come for me today?" Sometimes twice a day, regardless of the fact that the mail has already come and been distributed. Last time I send things out my husband refused to let me get the mail for six weeks until all my rejections came in.

I have my little ritual and even frame all my rejections. Hubby refuses to let me hang them though:Shrug: It's gotten to the point that if I saw an actual acceptance, i'm not sure what I'd do. But it gives me something to do and makes me feel as if I am accomplishing something with this aspect of my writing.

my first rejection was hand-written by an editor on the docs I sent, so I rang her. She was really friendly and helped me a lot. It was not long after, I was accepted by a publisher.
