I want to congratulate all the entrants for their wonderful stories. They were great to read and some brought back some very good memories for me. 
I also thought that a couple of them could be turned into novels and I hope that will be the case.

They were all so good. It will be a hard decision. I'll have to read them again. I can't make up my mind. I've picked out 5 favourites, now I'll have to choose. I've already chosen the first one. It stood out to me. I loved the way it was written and the content of the story.

She's got it posted in the freelance forum. I've only read about half of them, and I'll probably have to re-read all of them to vote. If the second half is as good as the first half it'll be a tough decision.

I really enjoyed reading all the stories with the different takes on "First Love". Very imaginative, poignant and funny. As someone said, they brought back lots of memories of my youth now that I'm the ripe old age of 48! Oh well, I'm still young at heart which is a nice way of saying I'm immature.

*Now, here's the rub. An ice storm is expected in my area tomorrow, my house is notorious for losing power 24 hours at a time when this happens and I expect it again tomorrow so I will post the winner as soon as possible.

I have nothing against voting for yourself, sometimes it makes the difference between first and second place.
Each contest is different, however, so check the rules on the announcement for that forum.
