I'm so embarassed. I forgot to vote, no, I never forget ANYTHING...can it be....
R.T...... YOU FORGOTTTED TO REMIND ME!
I thought I had until the end of the month.
Well, I can console myself with the fact that I can read them all over and over and over again and switch up my favorites from day to day.
MMMMM...maximum enjoyment.
You can't hide that from me, R.T.!!!!!:tongue

Next contest we have is going to start out with us giving a prize to Kerr. Then we'll go from there. :D
Seriously, congrats Kerr. You are on some roll. That's three in a row in the money with two fist places. Simply amazing.
And Anthony, I'm so glad to see a new member finish in the money. We'll be expecting more from you, you know. Good work.
Actually, I loved all the endings, and since RT was too mean to share, I had no idea who wrote what. Nor could I figure it out from the writing. In my mind, everyone who entered deserves a prize. Good job all.
*goes back into Grand-High, Most Secret Prize Deliberation and Presentment Committee Room for further discussions*
haggis, click on the 'vote now' link in your signature -- the names are now attached to the entries. how do you like them apples?

Stories are paired up with the authors here (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90604).
Thanks everybody, and congratulations Anthony. This was just plain fun. Thanks for starting it RT. I think you taught us all a lesson in how simple it can be to get a good story rolling.
And sorry I'm late to the show. I got knocked off line and my info disappeared from my dial-up, as well as my desk. (See what happens when you clean!) Apparently, the company I'm with is also hard to get ahold of. They're unlisted. lol

Stick with us, Kerr. We'll be posting the prizes just as soon as RT and I can get online at the same time. I'll send out a pm to you and Anthony as well.

Okay, here's what what we have in the prize box:
Naw. I'll throw in . Then we're good to go.
You want to tell them?
A short story anthology-- 999 edited by Al Sarrantonio
Another ss anthology --- Best New Horror (2006) edited by Stephen Jones
A copy of 'Thinner' by Stephen King
A copy of 'The Eyes of the Dragon' by Stephen King
A copy of Jack Ketchum's Red
Kerr gets to pick first, Anthony picks second.
Then our final three entrants will get to choose by PMing Haggis with a number between 1 and 25. I have a number picked, but Haggis doesn't know what it is. Closet guess chooses next and so on. :D

Winners, pm mailing info to RT ('cause I haven't cleaned out my mailbox lately and i don't have much room left). He'll get the right info over to me for the books I'll be sending.

You can PM a number anytime. Kerr has already chosen her prize so I'm just waiting for Anthony to decide.

Everybody is being really nice this weekend! I've been hovering over the jolly candy-like button for 24 straight hours.
Nothing.
The moment I fall asleep, people will start acting up and all the other SuperMods will have all the fun. :(

I mean, you wouldn't really. Would you?

Same here! I had mine sitting in the mailbox when I returned from work yesterday. I came online and sent Haggis a Thank You, then was knocked off for the next two hours when the electric went out. I went to bed with a flashlight, until I fell asleep from eyestrain. So far, the first story is outstanding. Thanks again Haggis and RT. You are both wonderful to keep me supplied in new reading material. :D
