Matching my characters with famous actors

Hehe, I do that all the time! I have pics up on the wall where I write.(I've got a huge collection of signed pictures I go through when I need a new character)

Currently I've got

Johnny Depp, as the 'is he a good guy or bad guy?' sorcerer
Karl Urban as Angry Young Warrior
Kurt Russell as Angry Old Warrior
Christian Bale as Bad Guy

For my MC though, I've got my local pub landlords daughter ( she's currently at RADA and she's spot on looks wise)

Only trouble is I sit and drool over the piccies when I should be writing

Becuase you know, no movie is correct unless Samuel L. Jackson is in it. And if a movie is correct without him, he would just make it better.

I cast all of my novels. It's an old habit left over from my PBEM RPGing days, but it helps when I'm trying to envision scenes.

It really does help, in a lot of ways. Especially in terms of portraying emotions.
