Looks like it's official.

Congratulations to the WGA and everyone who picketed and supported on their behalf. I believe the deal isn't exactly what they wanted but is still far better than what came before. I'm sure it comes as a huge relief to many and I hope the transition back to work is smooth for those involved.

I guess this whole adventure reconfirms the one universal truth: you can piss off the studios, you can ruin the Golden Globes... but nobody fucks with the Oscars.

but will it be that much harder for we newbies? all those seasoned writers had time to work on their own stuff (when not out there marching) and now they've got to prove their worth it.
