Alpha Workshop is accepting it's manuscripts in 2 weeks. Alpha is an amazing workshop. I should know, because I went there last year. It was a flurry of meetings, writing prompts, writing time. It was a write-a-thon, crammed with amazing people, amazing writing skill and enough ideas to make my head explode.
The manuscript you send in has to be from 2,000 to 6,000 words, and it has to be either sci-fi, fantasy, or horror writers (Sorry everyone else).
I suggest if you have a short story that is almost completely polished or a manuscript you've been sitting on, you should send it in right away. Alpha is, hands down, the BEST thing I've ever done.
No joke.
Now, I'm gonna polish MY story and hope to god I get in again.
