I've been popping around, checking out how everything works and I know I'm going to like it here. I've read several of the 'Idol' entries and am very impressed with the level of writing here. I wouldn't want to be a judge and have to select just 10. Thank you all for the wonderful welcome and I loved rob-rite's comment on my name. In Canada I'm a florist... go figure.

Hi Sharon,

I'm from Western Canada too. I too, am married with dependents or Married to a dependent with kids. I'm actually on Vancouver Island and just taking stabs at freelancing for mags. What type of writing are you into? My idol submission was a little humor and embarrassingly not at par with the rest of them but it was my courageous step the day I posted.
