In the last two weeks I've come out of lurking to add my two cents or join the Idol contets. It seems only fitting I introduce myself.
My name is Deb and I'm a 40 year old freelance writer and newspaper columnist from Central New Jersey. Although I've always loved to write, I've only been doing it professionally for the past couple of years.
I come to forums such as this to pick up tips and learn the ins and outs of the industry. I hope to write a book soon - a humorous look at growing up in a large family - and have no clue as to how to go about doing so. My experience lurking here has been enlightening and I look forward to settling in and staying for a while.
