Now that I've already posted here and there on the site, I should probably formally introduce myself. I live in the winelands region of South Africa, and do a lot of wine-drinking. Tasting is for wussies. I haven't been writing for a terribly long time, but basically through encouragement from a variety of people, have decided that this is something I actually wanna do! So here I am, hoping to get further inspiration from the site, and so far it's working.
Have never really chatted online before, so this is all very new to me. I mainly write poetry having done a few courses during my university years. Sometimes I write prose too, but it's rare.
At the moment I'm busy punting my poetry portfolio, which broadly deals with identity, desire and loss in various relationships. So, if any publishers are looking for poems dealing with these themes, I'm the one with which to get in touch!
