A journey of love

This is a story that cried out to be shared and I couldn't think of a better place than in this forum.

My cousin used to breed and show Golden Retrievers and her last dog died just before Christmas. Needless to say, she missed him terribly.

Friends in the Golden Retriever forum located a dog in Florida that needed a home and set the wheels in motion to unite two souls who belonged together.

That's a wonderful story, Lady Cat, you made my day!

I encourage everyone looking for a pet to consider taking in an older animal. My avatar cat Alison was a six year old whose owner had died. She spent several weeks at a shelter, grumpy, depressed, and passed over in favor of cuter kittens. Finally, we couldn't take seeing her like that and my wife and I brought her home. Now she spends most nights sleeping in my arms.
