So, I was stopped at a long red light when I looked over to left of me, and there, right smack in the middle of an open field, was a white long-haired cat.

I thought, How cool...it's going to get something. So, I watched.

It was getting in that sitting-almost-crouching position that cats do slowly so they don't spook their prey. I could see its muscles flex or maybe a breeze moved its fur.

Its eyes were focused on something yards in front of it.

I took a look. Nothing.

So looked back at the cat and it hunkered a bit more.

So I looked for the prey again. Still nothing.

So I looked back at the cat again...
...and it blew away!

Somebody in my car needs glasses!

Since then I've been teased about that episode. I was driving with my sister since, and she spotted a big black garbage bag in the road. She yelled, "Look, Patty! A California Condor!"

Ditz...we live in Ohio.

bwa-ha-ha-ha.... :D

though there's an interesting idea in there, I think...

(and they do have buzzards in Ohio, which are similar to Condors.)
