Okay, the challenge here is to crit a poem. Go into the crit forum and pick a poem, any poem. What you should do is tell the poet:

What the metaphor is, if any. If it doesn't seem to have a metaphor, tell the poet. Also, tell the poet if you feel the metaphor was carried well by the poem as a whole.

Does the poem show or tell?

Are there parts of the poem that do not make sense? If so, why?

And that's it for this challenge. The idea is to work our critiquing muscles.

How do you do it

I have been trying to get to the crit forum writing the password but it doesn't seem to do anything.

There is a note that says that "this requires cookies". What does this mean? Where or how do I get this cookie? I am new to this thing so maybe I don't do something right. Any advise?

Thanks a bunch,

Kassandra

In my head.
Kassandra,
Hello and WELCOME.

Cookies are something a website uses to recgonize "you" when you log in. Very basically it's like one computer saying to another, "Oh yeah, I know you. I have your info right here, come on in."

Cookies are "allowed" by you on your computer through your browser ( the program you use to view the web) settings.

Go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and click on "Tools" then "internet options". In the options window there are different categories for settings like security and privacy and programs that open for certain functions, etc. Locate the category where your "Cookie" settings are and click on "allow" or whatever yours says. You may have options like "allow once" or something, they're all different.

That's about all I know, hope it helps.
