What colour is your story?

I don't mean to be poetic here, like "oh it's grey because it's depressing and it rains a lot in the story".
Have you ever heard of synesthesia? that's what I mean.
I've got this colour scheme for my story right now.
Blue and green.........
I know it sound kinda random. Many people don't have this, but many do.

What's yours. When you think about your story, what colours come to mind?
This is supposed to be something that pops into your head without you having to think of it, but it's not really random.

Like...when I think of two, it's always green and 5 is always pink.
everytime I think of my story, it has blue and green....

What's yours? :D

Depends what part of my world they are in:
Desert - Brown and white
Rivers and lakes - Green and Blue
Forests - Green and Brown
And when I feel like breaking the scheme - Black and White, lol

Um

I came here to say that.

And saw you had.

Which is obvious, cause we're clones.

I associate a color with each of my characters. "Better Than One" is mostly blue since that's Marvin's color and story. Katrina is red/orange/yellow (fire), while Gideon is silver (all colors/white light with a touch of darkness) or green.

I have synesthesia! And my stories have colours. But I don't think it's synesthetic colour, in this case - it depends on the setting and visuals I have for the concepts involved. My current story is mostly pink, with terracotta and white/grey, due to the kind of stone the city in which it is set is made of.

I attribute colours to music albums, but I've never thought of doing it with my MS. It's got be rather stumped, I'll have to give it some thought....

I think the one I want to work on (sooon) is grey and green, with sort of transparent angular shapes of all shades of those colors layered semi-transparently over one another.

Not sure why though.

most people that read my latest completed ms tell me it is black and white (like an old movie). I see it more washed out sepia myself.

I see it as washed out sepia, too, Trishka. hehe.

Sebastian is blue...various shades of blue. It starts pale, goes to midnight and fades back to a pale. I think it's almost white at the end.

Dubious is bright fuchsia with orange fire sprouting the edges.

I have synesthesia for some things (some very intimate!! Is that just me??), and what I write, particularly my poems, is in colour. One story on the back burner is golden and green. Another is multicoloured and bright.
