You may begin your addiction here (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20021104).

And don't blame me; Dpat and Sweta deserve that. :)

I can't believe you went and did it.

You actually started this thread.

Maybe we should move it to the Super-Secret Mod-Proof User Rec Room. (Members Only.) where nobody else can find it?

Whoa, with the accusations! This is all Shweta's fault and I'm not sharing the blame--

Shweta is responsible for a great many people's addiction to Girl Genius.

Between the Girl Genius avatar pictures I saw on AW and a link from the Nodwick website, I finally looked up the comic and spent most of a weekend reading them. Very cool.

Maybe I should keep my orange cat avatar but change my user title to "Minion of Krosp".

:D

I confess to being addicted to Girl Genius. In fact, yesterday I re-read the whole comics because there had been no update. I need help!

ETA: dammit! Talk about an addiction, I still have the Girl Genuis tab open!

Last week, I got used to settling down and reading through them for a couple of hours each day. Reaching the end and not having a Next link to press was a shock!

Now, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays have special significance. :)

It won't help much, because there's not much to it yet, but Skin Horse (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/shaenongarrity/skinhorse/series.php?view=archive&chapter=25034) looks like it's going to be another wonderful wonderful comic. From the creator of Narbonic, which rivals Girl Genius as my favourite mad-science comic :)

I think I may have always been one of you. I just try to fight my baser nature.

I read them all. Every last single one. It makes me want to love science and do cool things. I  Jagarmonsters.

I say it's no accident that the actress playing Euphrosynia in the lover's duet (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20080206) is the spitting image of Agatha! What say you?

Which is weird, since Agatha looks a lot like her mother, more than the Heterodyne side.

Anyway, the Storm King character looks a fair bit like wossname, too.

Hmm... must admit I'm not quite seeing that yet... :)

Lucrezia's face is rounder/shorter, and her expression is generally different, as is her hairstyle. And you chose very different expressions :)

But there are definitely moments when they look extremely similar, and apart from long-face, she doesn't look like Bill.

Most notably, Bill and Barry have dark hair. The Heterodynes are supposed to be Central European, yes? Dark hair. Agatha, Lucrezia, and the character in the opera are blondes.

I read it for a while, until the site moved. I need to get back into it again. I've been reading Phil's stuff since around 1980.

I don't *think* this is a repeat post, however, the Foglios are interviewed here:

Two parts.

I love Girl Genius! I discovered it shortly after my daughter was born... reading that comic got me through many a 2am feeding. Checking G.G. is the first thing I do every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

I'm such an addict.

...won the Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story of 2008, and quite rightly so! :D

Read Phil and Kaja's acceptance speech (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20090817) here (in the style of their GG comic, natch).

Oh, God, I LOVE Girl Genius. (And agree with Ted that they are very fanny)
I've been wearing a trilobite pin for a year. It's kind of an anti-conversation piece. People who ask about it can get glazed eyes and wander off pretty quick depending on the spiel.
Had no idea it was a Hugo winner. Sort of raises my opinion of the Hugo thing, actually.
