I am in need of an advisor/mentor. I am working on a story that is set in the Fertile Crescent in 8,000 BC. It is a coming of age plot.
I made a lot of progress with outlining and the basic plot, but a month ago I decided to make some major changes to it. The changes work very well but I am not sure about some things. I need some advice before I can go any farther.

I would prefer someone who is working on a novel right now and/or is published, and feels they have a good grip on plot structures and POV techniques.

I will be sharing outlines and ideas, so there will be no major reading involved.

Please leave a message here on the thread or PM me and I will give you my personal email.

Thank you!

Most of us who do beta work do it because we are interested in helping other writers, and also in getting a look at someone else's fiction work. It's actually the process of reading the novel that is fulfilling to most of us (even if we are occasionally faced with pure dreck). Unless we see actual prose, we don't have a clue whether you can even put a sentence together.

My suggestion is, get out of the outline stage and write the prose. Tell a story that seems great to you, and then have some critical readers review it. You can always edit after the first draft.

I don't want a beta reader, I was looking for an advisor or mentor.
