I'm having a dry-spell
I'm working on my first serious project now, and I got up to 55k on NaNoWriMo. Then I decided the direction the plot went was pure crap and restarted it. The restart reached 7k and then I hated that, right to my very core. Now I'm struggling to restart it once again.
What to do, what to do when you have such a crappy writer's block? I don't particularly believe in writer's block, but what other explanation is there?
I think the main problem I've having is that I think my writing gets suckier and suckier each time I restart. I've never had a completed manuscript before so I don't know if editing would rid the MS of its choppiness or what. Some insight would be greatly appreciated, though!
