Here's some updated info for those following or writing about the saga of the Diamond Pet Food products that injured and killed dogs awhile back. The Diamond Pet Food Settlement Website even has a claim form for anyone who lost a pet due to the tainted foods.

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about certain Diamond Pet Food products. The settlement provides for an amount of $3.1 million to pay consumers who purchased recalled Diamond Pet Food products, and to compensate dog owners whose dogs were injured by eating Diamond Pet Food products.

Thanks for sharing this. I was sooooooo lucky on this one. I had some of the tainted food but my dogs would not eat it. Of course at that time I did not know it was bad and tried to force them but they did not give in. I have two labs that eat anything so I thought it was strange they turned their noses up at it. I was so thankful when I realized why they were on a hunger strike. A neighbors cat wasn't so lucky though, it died. My dogs were very happy because mama started cooking their food for several months.
