what is zero gee love?
Story of O - was so clinical and cold i was bored. i couldn't finish.
Anne Rice's Beauty trilogy - I read that at age 10, I think, and was quite thrilled and overwhelmed. In particular Beauty has a session with a pommel and a heavily bejeweled dagger handle, I believe. I may have that all mixed up and it's really two different scenes, but the dagger was important. The wielder of the dagger was a mighty-turn on, too, Beauty was getting bullied by a virile meanie. She got a lot of bullying that I found far more believable and arousing than what I read in O.
Emma Holly's Prince of Ice had me galvanized and helpless on the bed. Ironically I'd read three of her previous non-fantasy works and those were pretty emotionless/low on the richter scale for me. A friend recommended this and it all just kept building and building so that when the demon hero, who has special extra equipment, and the half demon female, who is specially made to receive that equipment, got it on I was on fire with the book in my face and my body literally unable to move, panting, and my mind utterly lost in the book as if everything was really happening to me.
I swear I can probably count the number of times that's happened to me in my life with a book on one hand. That was some hot sheeyat.
And what is that story about? Or will that be against the rules to explain too much of something so sizzling? Ha!
