The work is complete. If someone is interested in at least looking over the first few chapters I would be thrilled.
The book has a bit of a military vibe but isn't over-powering in this respect. It has the "buddy adventure" feel of Starship Troopers, but minus the more heavy-handed political rhetoric. A focus is made on presenting the characters as being as human as..well humanly possible.
This is the first in a series that will comprise at least three books (the story up until the end of book three is already fairly well formed).
