I am working on an article (for future submission) on long-distance relationships. I myself am involved in a marriage where my husband and I live 1,200 miles apart. We've been doing this for 3-1/2 years, and it is a challenge. I would like other people's take on their situation, specifically:
1) How often do you and your mate get together?
2) To what extent does the expense affect you?
3) Do you have children? What are the negatives of the arrangement in that area? Where do the children live? How do you handle school arrangements?
4) What are the positives of the arrangement, both financial and emotional? Is the whole thing worth it? Why do you continue in this arrangement?
5) What are the best and worst aspects of the arrangement?
