Chat active?

I can't seem to find a section/thread about the chatroom. Does someone in particular run it? Is there a schedule? Would anyone like to have as a guest the author of a nonfiction book about to be published by one of the Big Six (or however few big publishers still hang on)?

You might want to pm Pthom and ask him about the guest thing. I dont think there is any chat threads except for in the FAQ. Im sure he would be interested in getting another moderated chat with a guest going. we have had a couple of them in the last few months.

Adding to Brian's post, the chat room is open 24/7 to anyone who wishes to use it. There are just a few basic guidelines that a Chat Bot will greet you with, but basic codes of behavior there are the same as this forum. A handful of us are volunteer channel Operators, but if you are interested in a moderated chat, you can PM either myself, Pthom, or Cath.

I'm going to move this to FAQ. I know you've already gotten some decent responses, but others may be wondering the same type of things, especially about who to contact about the guest chats.
