I pick up her posts via feed on my lj friends' list. Her perspective on the industry is fascinating to me because I'm such a 'word-oriented' person. Before I started reading her blog, I paid very little attention to book covers unless they were absolutely gorgeous or appallingly ugly.

Along the same lines, here is a link to the blog of the illustrator who did the main illustration for my cover art. It is pretty interesting as far as specifics on how a book illustrator works - not only the technical process but the thought process involved in illustrating fiction.
