It's time to savor the entries, and cast your vote! As you vote, please keep in mind how well the entry fulfills the theme requirement, in addition to being a well-crafted piece of writing. If the piece is an essay, try not to vote so much on whether or not you share the same opinion; vote for effectiveness of writing style.
To vote, please send me a PM with the words "CONTEST VOTE" in the title. In the body of your PM, please write, in order from 1st to 3rd, your 3 favorite entries. Please write the number of the entry as well as its title. For example:
#11 The Easter Bunny's Demise
#9 Why Did the Easter Chick Cross the Road?
#22 The Plight of the Black Jelly Bean
I will tally up the votes by assigning 1 point to 3rd place votes, 2 points to 2nd place votes, and 3 points to 1st place votes. Any ties will be broken by order in which the entries were received. (And yes, it is permissible to vote for oneself for one of those places.)
You have until November 30, 2007, 11:59 PM (CST), to vote. When the voting period is over, I will announce the winner in a new thread, with honorable mention given to 2nd and 3rd place winners. The 1st place winner will then get to PM me with their choice of prize from the prize pool thread, along with their mailing address or paypal address.
