THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES reveals what happens when SARAH stops running and goes on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological enemy bent on destroying her life, and perhaps the world. Her son, 15-year-old JOHN CONNOR, knows that he may be the future savior of mankind, but is not yet ready to take on the mantle of leadership that he’s told is his destiny.

On a movie to TV adaptation scale, I'll give it a Stargate out of a possible MASH.

That mostly depends on the continuity - it could fall as low as Highlander or Smallville.

Ooooo Summer Glau is in it. That alone makes it worth watching.

Wow. This has potential to be really great, or unbelievably bad. I hope she doesn't have neighbourhood-destroying fights with Terminators every week that go completely unnoticed by the authorities.

I don't have high hopes. This is going to be hard-a$$ angst-ridden "Linda Hamilton" from T2, isn't it? I hated, detested, and despised every bit of that movie (except for Patrick the terminator guy). I liked LH's character in T1--she was human and fallible.

Should we plan a drinking game for the inevitable maudlin narrative bits?

I'm interested in watching this when it comes out - though, I suppose in a small sense, I wonder where the true suspense will come...I mean, from the T3 movie we 'know' that Sarah Connor dies of cancer (leukemia, if I recall correctly) and so, we 'know' she can't die in these episodes and John at least survives until the after the war starts and is killed by the Terminator sent back to save him in T3 (though, I suppose that death can still be changed...right?)

If it's good and entertaining - I'll probably watch it...if not <shrugs>, I'll just go back and watch the movies.

So....when is T4 supposed to be coming out....?

I like to pretend the third movie doesn't exist. It makes my world a happier place.

Never saw Firefly.

I googled her and though she's cute, she doesn't strike me as "tough" enough for this kind of role. I would think she'd be better suited to play a young Sarah Conner around the time, or even before, the first Terminator movie.

I loved T2, but that's because I thought a ripped Linda Hamilton was hot.
Me too. :D

Actually, I got a kick out of the relationship between John and the Terminator in that movie. Sure, it was corny at times, but it was entertaining. T3 was worth it if only for that scene where Arnie turns toward the camera and half his head is missing. Too cool for school, man! (I'm such a kid)

Oh, and the hot chick Terminator didn't hurt either. ;)
