The Nerd Handbook... Writers, too?

This is an awesome article... just wanted to know how many other writers out there are "nerds" of this sort. Substitute computer knowledge for the craft of writing and see how much this rings true.

I just read that entire article out loud to my husband because it was so freakin scary. That is HIM. Like, completely. And the companion who likes to travel, acts as a social translator, and is messy and unknowable? That would be me.

I do just fine in my cave, as long as I have highspeed net access and a C++ compiler.
And besides, this article is trash. It presumes to describe me, but it doesn't say a thing about Slashdot.
