Agents and Yahoo!

No, not from what I've read on their blogs. What they sometimes find off-putting is what comes before the @. If your email address is [email protected] you'd probably better get a new one for querying.

ETA: I just made that email up. Please don't try it, for fear it actually exists.

If an agent is interested in your work, all they will probably care about at that moment is contacting you. Make it easy for them. That's it.
