New from Texas

Hi...just found this site today, and it looks like there's a lot of useful info here, so I thought I'd sign up.

I live in north central Texas, but I was brought up mostly in New England. What a transplant that was! Took me a year to be able to understand the thickest of the accents!

All I've had published so far are some non-fiction ghost stories, but I'm trying my hand at fiction now. Harder than I thought it would be!

So that's me in a nutshell....

you got that right. I spend more time here than writing which i'm not proud of but I love it here so much its hard to tear myself away. I may need an intervention soon. :ROFL:

It's a LOT different. Seasons just meld into each other, spring and fall just blips on the radar for a month, then summer...and more summer...and more summer. Heat that takes your breath away does not always agree with me!
