Been soooo busy and I apolgise for not posting much, although I read all your posts.

Hope this makes up for it.

As Academy time rolls near, screenplays hoping for Oscar noms are already making the rounds.

at the expo - steve zaillian said it took him 18 months to write the first draft for american gangster. he actually wrote 2 scripts: one for each character. and then put them together. total time from start to production was 6 years.
