I have a newbie question that has probably been asked before, but man, there’s a lot of archived stuff to look through with no guarantee of an answer. So here goes.
When should a newbie start looking for an Agent? Like all writers I have multiple wips, but mine aren't of submission quality. They are in various points of completion. Two are novels in the 2nd draft phase and two are in the 1st draft phase, (just good enough to read to my kids) and I have a ton of ideas for stories I want to start. Is it time to send query letters or should I get a book to the point of submission quality before even thinking about finding an agent?
