I had a brainstorm for my upcoming Science Fiction story that I've talked about here. I'm going to do a bit of rewriting the original story I have and make it much better.
Even though this book is a sequel to an earlier work, I've decided that the storyline of the first book will be completely retconned and rewritten in just a couple of chapters. This is done to improve because much of it made no sense whatsoever in the scientific fields, there was very little character conflict, no character growth, and weak conflict.
There will be more chapters than planned. This is done to shorten the average length of the chapters as well as begin and end them on interesting notes to divide the scenes.
The storyline and main theme will focus on finding meaning in one's life and facing death when it has tried to take you in the past.
In short, the original story I wrote out for this book will be much more different (and better) than when I first wrote the original draft.
