While I have no doubt that there are teen and even pre-teen gamblers somewhere, most casinos (including every one I have visited in several different states) don't allow any minors in the casino, not even with parents. And the casinos I have been to are very strict and will card anyone who is not of age, either 18 or 21 depending on the state and the laws.

I think teens often gamble online, sometimes simply by checking the box that says, "I am over 18."

Yes. Kids often get online and bet Joni. And Johnnysan, I'm not talking casinos (tho I'm sure many have faked their way in) I'm talking sports betting, card games, lottery (the largest gambling "venue," bingo (probably the second largest), poker of course and others. It's a real problem.

Okay, I don't know much about online gambling.....
I do know casinos, however, and I assure you that a teen sneaking in is very, very rare. Casinos can be shut down for this and they check age far more thoroughly than any bar or liquor store.

BTW, it's Johnnysannie!

OK Johnnysannie. I hear you. I didn't realize they were that responsible. I do know that kids have entered other adult establishments with fake ID's. Glad to hear casinos are more aware of that.

Thanks!!!
