I wonder if anyone can help. I know this may be the wrong place to put this post in so feel free to move it.

I am looking for a book.
Laughing on the Outside: The Life of John Candy

I have looked on the net but if anyone see's it in a bookstore uk preferably, can you drop me a line or PM. It's to be a christmas pressy for my son and I can onle seem to get it from US at this time.

I've been searching everywhere for a novel called Hawaian Paradise that has apparently been banned, at least in Mexico, but I can't find any mention of it on the web, either. People I know have read it, so it does exist, but I can't find it. May I hijack this thread to ask that someone help me?

I started here but was hoping to find a brand new copy. I will get from here if nothing else comes up.

I also had a look at bookmooch and as I have no books to give away, am unable to "mooch" it. Thanks all for looking for me.

Have you tried asking in a bookshop? I just did a quick search on the Waterstones website, and it shows as not in stock anywhere, but I bet if you went and asked they'd find it for you (assuming it's still in print).

Thanks Jimmy. I'm going to try that too. I assume the bigger stores like Waterstones rather than WH Smiths. I'm sure they would have some sort of secret supply!
