I write a nationally syndicated newspaper column about pets and animals. I'm looking for people who've got a good story about pets and Thanksgiving dinner who'd be willing to be briefly interviewed and quoted. (We can do it by email if it's easier.)
I'd think I'd like it to be cautionary but not too depressing... like if the dog stole the whole turkey and ruined the dinner and ended up at the vet, at least he was OK after the hundreds of dollars of vet bills.
Although I'm assuming dogs are the likely protagonists of such a story, I'd be interested in a cat anecdote too - although I can't imagine what it would be since all the cats I've ever known disappear when there's that much company!
Thanks!
