Try this

My wife and I would, on long walks around Toronto (before we had our kids), play a game about making up a good Pen Name:

Usually you take a name, like your middle name, and the name of a street that you lived on and put them together like so:

name street

and get things like:

Robert Oak
Todd Kendal
Corrinne Dunfield
Jack Spadina
Victoria Queen
Randolf Quay

You get the idea. This can be a lot of fun, depending on your city or town...

Somebody once told me to use the name of your first pet followed by the street you grew up on, given that mine would be Tinkerbell Livingston. It might not be such a good idea after all.

Ok, Wendy,

tell us more about yourself. Hobbies, passions, etc. Are you looking for a real-sounding name, or something of a title, like "The Rabid Reader"?

Behind you!
I see that you're in the southern half of Arizona, so maybe you can use a name of local legend or influence.

Lots of place names in the area would make passable female first names. Sonora Willcox?

Ever read She's Hogging the Bathroom by Buster Doardowne or Rusty Bedsprings by I.P Knightly?

You don't know what you've started here....

Seriously, Jenna brings up an interesting point. If you can find a name that evokes a sense of your personality and the tone you want to convey, it would reinforce the connection between you and the column.

..........

i think i would do well with a joke kind of name....my humor you know.....lol..... and of course for my class.....i would need something that would give the higher ups the impression that i am well bred......maybe something only another heavy reader or writer would enjoy......sigh...am pretty much open to any and all.....(but not poo...ping.....)....lol.....(love it....)
It's true i live in the Southwest...where it looks like all the old elephants come to die.......the newspaper is a small one...you know the kind.....the big story of the day is Kelmer Jones hits it big at local casino....and wins 50.00 bucks.....

I LOVE YOU GUYS....WENDY....:D

P.S. THAT'S A GOOD ONE..............:Hail: ....OH GREAT ONE.....

You had a pet named Tinkerbell, too? We got a St. Bernard mix from someone. Her name was Tinkerbell. She was the biggest, hairiest Tinkerbell I ever hope to meet!

I don't know, Katie, I doubt a fashion designer named "Stingers Burger King" would sell many items!
