Hey all,

I was invited by Jenna many moons back to join the forum for the purpose of eventually moderating. After getting to know most of you and seeing that you are all a great bunch of people, I've humbly accepted.

I just want to let you know that I am not going be some "big brother" monitoring your every step. My goal is to:

- Keep threads on topic.
- Keep spammers out.
- Remind each and everyone of us to be courteous and professional whenever possible.
- Take part in a great forum and offer my opinions on the craft and business of screenwriting (or astronomy for those who stargaze, like me).

Nice to see there's some moderating in here now. I was afraid to post here because everyone in the old boards seemed to flame a lot even if the simplest question was asked (in which case, maybe you should make an FAQ here. After all, everyone who first comes here may not necessarily instantly know all the rules and regulations for screenwriting).

No really, I think it's great that a mod has been chosen and that Joe has accepted.

And I agree that a FAQ section should be established.
I know that many newbies WON'T go there but many will.
Perhaps maybe a FA Topic section, oh like using we see
or POV, what if night or day doesn't matter. Those kinds of things
could be grouped together.
