Yes, Ladies and Menfolk, THE motoring show is back this sunday, 20 o'clock, this sunday.

Although from the trailer, Hammond has a really bad haircut.

Anyone care?

Thoughts, comments and insults welcome.

Marvellous!

And to the pirating colonials (You know who you are) who want to know how good the new series is, it looks at least exactly as good as it should be. If not better.

For example; at the start of the first show of every series, they show a montage of clips of the upcoming series.
Well... I'm not quite sure how to say this without having to change my underwear... It appears that they race a Bugatti Veyron and a Jet Fighter side by side down a runway!

Sounds like just the sort of excuse Jeremy would dream up to get back in a Bugatti.

Just hope there are more small-car sports to come. classic.

wasn't it brilliant! You have to love Top Gear, and how many digs at fifth gear could they fit into the show....i have a feeling it will be a running joke YEAH! FIFTH GEAR SUCKS!
Hammond also seems to have lightened up about the crash with his new hairdo as there were several comments about crashing etc.
Top gear is back with a bang and looking as good as ever.

Damn right it was!
And an interesting role reversal. Remember when they went to the americas? James was the only one with air-con. And now they go through Europe and he's the only one without it!

It's true.
There should really be a law :)

Well, they do have a point. Fifth Gear really is a Rover 75 next to Top Gear's Porsche Boxter.
Top gear is back with a bang and looking as good as ever.
And it's SUCH a relief that it's back.
I'm glad this series runs into December, I don't like Top Gear withdrawal.

Just look how quotey I've gotten with excitement!

I'm downloading it as we speak. I've been injured and laid up, but I creaked out to my machine to get it - couldn't wait any longer.

I don't even have a driving license.

I just Love the show. As you can probably tell.

Tut-tut. What would Clarkson say?

Hijacking complete. Now, take this thread to Cairo where a list of demands will be issued for its safe return!

Beautiful show. They shoot some of the most amazing footage. But I'll go on record here and now - Hammond's necklace really, really, really bothers me. You people are closer. Shout at him to remove it immediately.

I want to be Helen Mirren. Just not quite yet.

And didn't the "Coming up in this series" montage look sub-zero?
And how!

I'm really not into supercars (except for the Bugatti Veyron and the odd, non-genital-looking Ferrari - wait are regular Astons supercars? Nevermind) so it's the trek or challenge that always gets me. And the news was hilarious. I've watched all but the first two series of 'Top Gear' (and I've watched even a few of those) and I've read one of Jeremy Clarkson's books, so with immersion and Wikipedia to explain 'chavs' and 'ASBO' to me, I get most of the jokes!

Poor James May, always the last one picked. :D

There are non-phallic Ferraris?
Why wasn't I informed?!

*scuttles off to Ferrari dealer*
wait are regular Astons supercars?
Certainly not.
