Did anyone else read the article link on Publishers Lunch today about Book World? Here's the quote from the Florida Newspaper that I meant:
"I think he was very good with his back room, his shipping and all that, and I think his marketing savvy was pretty good," said David Cussen, publisher at Pineapple Press, also based in southern Manatee County.
Cussen said Smith's sales problems may have stemmed from embracing one niche too strongly.
"He was doing a lot of books in Christian publishing, and that has been falling off a cliff in the last two years," he said.
Golly Gee! Ain't that just the best news you've heard in a long time?
