I'm totally hooked.

Dear TV Gods,

Please let the winner be either Dale or Casey, and not Hung, who is probably a great cook but comes off as a twit.

Love
patti

I hearted Brian, so I was sad last week. Now I'm all for Casey - I love her unpretentiousness and her food just seems mouthwatering.

Hung scares me. Remember when he almost cut Casey with his knife?

Dale cracks me up, though, and he shows occasional brilliance. We'll see.

I adore Dale. I wish I had a cute gay brother to fix him up with. Dale tries a lot of stuff that's completely outrageous, and manages to make it work. His philosophy appears to be "Let's throw some $hit in a pot" and it somehow comes out great.

I like Casey a lot too. I think a lot of people criticized her at first because they thought she was getting by on her looks, but clearly she's a gifted and talented chef. She really seemed to be in her element in the last couple of shows.

Honestly, I thought Brian was really boring. I wasn't surprised to see him go.

If you really want to laugh until you pee yourself, go to www.bravotv.com and read Anthony Bourdain's blog. I love Bourdain, and his take on Top Chef is hilarious.

LOL, I hearted Brian for his looks, not his cooking. His cooking seemed sort of weird.

And I LOVED reading Kitchen Confidential, so I do like Bourdain a lot - he's so sassy and cool. I had no idea he had a blog. I'll check it out right now.

Anthony Bourdain is the best judge there is! Watching them get reamed by his no-holds-barred method of critting their food makes me feel better about those lovely rejection letters we get.

Count me in as a Top Chef addict and an Anthony Bourdain fan. I'm also hooked on his "No Reservations" show. I think (hope) Casey will win, although I love Dale too. I still think Casey got robbed on the Le Cirque quickfire challenge. How can Sirio say her dish was "better than any" and then name Hung the winner? Also, did anyone get the feeling that Hung was trying to tell the judges what he thought they wanted to hear in the last episode, when he talked about "soul" in his food? Yeah, right.

Side note: I had the privilege of meeting Anthony Bourdain in person several years ago. Can you believe he's even more charming in person? Yes, he's the real deal! I know he tries to come across as a bad-ass, but it was so cute to see him look genuinely bewildered about his success. You could tell he appreciated his fans, even years after he made it big. I heart him!

I love Casey! I'm totally rooting for her. CJ was my favorite and I was devestated when he was asked to leave. :( Hung can be such a jerk. And Dale tends to annoy me sometimes...though he's defintely my second pick!

And I love Anthony Bordain too! I started watching his tv show after seeing him on Top Chef. He's great! :D

It's a much better show than FoodTV's show.

I like Casey and think she has been the most consistent throughout the show. Hung drives me nuts because he reminds me of my Thai partner in a restaurant I owned. Same personality, same ego, and the same inability to accept criticism. I don't think Dale really got into step until the last few episodes, and that may hurt him.

I watched Bourdain's original show on FoodTV before it was cancelled. It was very entertaining, but his new one is not of the same caliber, IMO. He's shockingly funny and drinks like an Irishman... so he can't be all bad.:D

*sigh* Ah well, they'll all have great futures, I'm sure.

It was so cool to see Dale work with Todd English. And I loved seeing CJ again!

I'm angry. If ever there was a personality that deserved to lose . . . That man is a mimic. Granted, a technically perfect mimic, but a mimic nonetheless. He's not a Chef.

That was just pathetic.

I know, I was really disappointed. Technically, Hung may be the better chef, but I just don't think the dishes he presented last night (or any other night really) were as impressive as some of the meals the other chefs made. Dale's meal was a little more edgy, and so I think there should have been a little more leeway with the lobster dish. He tends to risk more, which was why I was thrilled to see him win the quickfire challenge... and I loved seeing him work with CJ again.

And am I the only one who caught it when Padma began a sentence with, "Well, Hung...."?

The live reveal was a flop. No point except it may have prevented some leaks.
