My book has a deflowering, and the way I've written it there needs to be a certain amount of blood. I've been Googling for hours, and all I ever find is the repeated and absolutely useless phrase of "a small amount of blood." I know there's a range of normal, which can be nothing or something, but would it be normal to leave enough on a guy that he'd notice and have enough left on the girl to stain someone's fingers?

Would that be normal, or is it something to fall under the knife when mi libro returns from the beta?

Behind you!
Absolutely within the realm of normal to "leave enough on a guy that he'd notice and have enough left on the girl to stain someone's fingers."

You're good to go.

Maryn, pleased to meet you

Not all girls/women bleed the first time they have sex.

I know, I found alot about "the range of normal" without it being specific for anything except that there doesn't have to be any or so little you don't notice. But my character does.

Thanks!! I don't have to take a knife to my book! I'm so glad, it was a kinda important part.
