He wrecked a Rolls Royce Vampire last September. Not his fault, tire puncture. But he crashed at over 280mph and he should be quite dead. As it is, he isn't. And he's one of the most charming, delightful and thoroughly watchable television personalities I've ever seen.

He's one of three cohosts for the BBC's 'Top Gear'.
