your dream collection - weapons

Hi Sassee, I'm not a guy but I hope my vote counts.

Useful 1) 38 or 357 revolver, 2) short barrel (2") 38, 3) 22 rifle (you can pick your own brands)

Interesting/decorative - 1) Antique flintlock rifle or buffalo gun, 2) modern Thompson Center or other reproduction percussion black powder rifle, 3) derringer

Wespons - 1) a model cannon, 2) an old-fashioned crossbow, 3) a Bowie knife

I don't have any firearms at all. A friend's father let me fire his shotgun when I was eight and I both sprained my shoulder and got tossed about 12 feet back. Cured me of guns.

Blades, however...

I have almost every type of knife available but am especially fond of throwing knives. The rest of the weapons collections includes a light bow, a red oak staff, a pair of war axes, a 15-foot bullwhip, and a few machetes.

Everyone wants a katana.

Guns aren't really a big thing this side of the pond, but I have done some target shooting, and enjoyed it, so maybe some kind of rifle too.

Thompson .45 submachine gun, with a 50-round drum magazine, aka "Tommy gun". Need a really swell gangster car to go along with that one, too, something from the roaring twenties.

Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun with suppressor.

Sig Sauer P220 SAO.

My Beretta .380 - small, lightweight, very good if you have any experience.

A shotgun - big, blasting, doesn't matter if you have never shot anything before.

H&K G36 w/ Nato rounds - now that's a weapon.

Beretta M93R, probably the most practical machine pistol. Has a 20-round magazine, fires in semi-auto or 3-round burst (not full auto), and if it needs to be concealed you can use a Beretta 92 15-round magazine, taking a couple inches off the grip length.

S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum, Dirty Harry's gun. Preferably with the 8 and 3/8ths inch barrel.

A 1911-type pistol, made by Springfield or Colt and firing either .45 ACP or 10mm. He'd probably have a few of those if he was a serious collector. The Vampyre Slayer made by Reeder is pretty damn nice.

As for rifles, I'm partial to the M1 Garand. McCann Industries can customize one to take the .458 Winchester Magnum elephant gun cartridge.

For shotguns, either a Mossberg 500/590 pump-action or a StreetSweeper-type revolving shotgun.

For knives, I'd like to have a Nepalese Kukri knife (more like a machete).

Pistols: Walther P-38 (which I own); .44 Automag; S&W Model 29 (the Dirty Harry gun)

Rifle/Shotgun/Machinegun: H&K 91 7.62mm rifle; Atchison Assault Gun (combat shotgun); Thompson Sub-Machinegun .45 cal (w/drum)

Weapons: Matched Katana,wakasashi; kukri; katar (punch dagger)

Heirlooms: My dad's first rifle, a .22 with (I think) an octagon barrel.

Grandpa's double-barrelled shotgun

My great-uncle's single-barrelled shotgun.

Other uncle's gen-u-wine Derringer. Why did he even need this? Was it when he played piano at gin joints during Prohibition? Don't know ...
