So anyone else listen to him, if you haven't then I advice checking him out. Just enter the name in you tube or something and something will come up.
I can't get enough of him, and often find myself writing to his music.

I haven't listened to him in ages. His father Maurice composed the soundtrack for the movie Witness, which I have on CD. It's a little dated, but still worth listening to.

I bought his first album when it first came out, Oxygene. I enjoy it but have never sought any of his other stuff out. Probably my loss.

for sure your loss....he has just released his latest album
Tea or Teó and although a bit dancy, it is still a cracking piece of work.
If you haven't checked out any others here is what I think are his most essential cd's

Oxygene (of course)
Equinox
Magnetic Fields
Rendez-vous
Zoolook
Chronologie
Oxygene 7-13
Metamorphisis
Tea and Taó
Age Of Silence

I'm a fan of his work. Have got most of his albums, and find them relaxing and undemanding. Not something I can listen to all the time, as prefer much heavier stuff, but Monsieur Le Synth has lasted when many others faded away. Rendez-vous and both Oxygene albums are very good.

Here's one of my favourite songs from when he visited China in the 80's:

Souvenir of China

The Middle Kingdom has changed a bit now.

Frenchclimax

He did amazing gigs all over the world and I think he was a pioneer in electronic music but I'm not fond of his last cd's after chronologie. Try to find a video of the houston concert in the 80's, it's worth the sight!
